"I think it's an amazing initiative that will expand the teaching capacity of so many schools. It will let us take space from the theoretical to the practical with our students. It's easy to rhapsodize about space studies, but when students can actually do direct observation through telescopes and microscopes, can physically grasp meteorite samples and compare them to terrestrial rocks it opens up new pathways in their minds and puts space actually within their grasp. As a Montessori educator, I have repeatedly seen how much physical materials can reinforce theoretical concepts, so I am truly excited to see how my students will come to realize that space truly is within their grasp."
